Einstein's Microscopes uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time a credit card number is asked for during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to the our credit card processor, the widely-used Authorize.net. The information you provide will be stored in a secure database on our servers and only used for the purposes outlined above.  At any time you may request that we delete all data pertaining to your past orders by emailing us at service@einsteinsmicroscopes.com or through the Contact Us form.
